Kris is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Education. She played Division I field hockey and softball and after graduation, she worked as a Recreation Therapist for two years.

Kris returned to school and obtained a Master’s Degree and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey (UMDNJ). She is currently an Adjunct Professor for the Physical Therapy Program at UMDNJ/Rutgers.

Kris has been working as a Physical Therapist for 15 years with a strong focus on orthopedic and sports injuries. Kris received her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification to support her work with athletes and was certified through the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2003.

Kris also has a strong interest in golf and specializes in the treatment of patients who are golfers. She obtained her Back to Golf Performance and Fitness Specialist certification in 2007 and works collaboratively with golf professionals to correct faulty swing mechanics and assist patients in returning to golf after surgery or injury.
