Robert grew up in East Orange and was a member of the Clifford J. Scott Basketball Team, the 1982 State Champions. He attended Rutgers University at Newark where he was the MVP of the varsity Basketball Team his freshman year. He graduated with a BA in Political Science.† He worked in the insurance industry for 10 years as a Technical Claims Specialist and two years as a Telecommunications Sales Representative with Avaya Technologies, formerly Lucent Technologies.  He decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry after seeing so many people fall victim to obesity and bad health do
to hectic lifestyles. He is the Fitness Director of Strength-N-fitness and teaches a Total Body Conditioning Class.  Robert is a high energy, high output motivator. His classes are fun and engaging. Robert combines strength training and cardio to his group fitness classes.

Mike Brown is the product of the Scotch Plains schooling system, after graduating from Scotch Plains Fanwood H.S, Mr. Brown attended Trenton State College(The College of New Jersey), where earned a B.S. in Business. After a brief stint in the corporate arena, he returned to doing work in the health and fitness field and became an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified personal trainer. Mike has expertise in
administering fitness programs for weight loss, strength training, cross training, body sculpting and circuit training. He most enjoys working with clients that are fully committed to learning and improving their health and physical well-being.

I am a certified Personal Trainer, certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, certified TRX Group Training Instructor, CROSSFIT LEVEL-1 Attendance, NPC Physique competitor and the founder of GHOS X-FIT. I took my 15 years of fitness experience and created an all level efficient fitness program that is changing the lives of many people.  My communication skills give me a unique position in this fitness industry and I’m able to make the most intense exercises fun. But it’s my passion and commitment that stands out the most. I do not give up on anyone. I challenge you to do things you wouldn’t imagine.

Luis Brito : Instructor

Hi my name is Luis Brito and I have a great passion for indoor spinning. I’ve been teaching spin for eight years now. I love the feeling of the endurance the climb and being pushed to the limit. With great music that’s exactly what I bring to my spin class. Four years ago I was diagnosed with Avascular necrosis which is the death of bone tissue due to a lack of blood supply. With my love for spin and my spin community the minute I was able to get back on the bike I was off & riding. Spinning has helped a great deal with my rehabilitation. I was also introduced to a GHOS TRAINING program. Created by Nasir Guest GHOS X-FIT is fitness on all levels! We use compound movements at high levels of Intensity to burn fat and build lean muscle. This type of cross training involves Cardio vs Resistance Training. Work outs are lined up against time or task with constant variations so that there is NEVER a routine. This stimulates the mind to produces the optimal performance needed to push you beyond your normal boundaries. By taking each work out to the next level your body is forced to change to match your fitness. The more fit you become the better you look and feel. Which I have incorporated into my spin program called GHOS SPINNING. So grab a towel and a water bottle and experience GHOS Spinning.

Ginny Colarusso-Soos : Instructor

Ginny graduated from Cranford High School in 1996 and received a B.S. in Business Administration from Rider University in 2000. She is Series 7 & 63 licensed and currently works in financial operations at The GMS Group, LLC in Livingston. She received her Hatha yoga certification in March 2008 from The Inner Light Yoga Center in North Brunswick and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She also received her certification to teach Yoga for Kids in July of 2009 with Lani Rosen-Gallagher of Full of Joy Yoga in CT. Ginny also teaches at Surya Yoga Academy in Summit, Hot Yoga Revolution in Garwood, and Destined to Dance in Piscataway. She enjoys working out and spending time with her family.

Leah Kumiya : Instructor

Leah is our high energy, fun loving Zumba instructor. “My ZUMBA personality is upbeat and I’m a pretty wild performer who likes to have fun. The energy I feel from the crowd makes that experience even more dynamic.”

While developing her powerful chops as a singer and taking years of private voice and dance instruction, Leah began setting her sights on becoming a multiple-threat performer, training in various styles of dance, ballet, tap, modern jazz and hip-hop. “Because of the combination of the diverse artists that have greatly influenced me and the multiple styles of dance and vocal training throughout the years, I have been driven to become an artist with high energy in dance striving to take it to another level. Shakira, who also has inspired me, ads an additional Latin flare to my performances.”

Leah’s single release —whose eclectic vibe makes it the perfect crossover project covering adult contemporary, mainstream pop, R&B, rock, even jazz—is intended as a “teaser” for fans to enjoy while Leah looks forward in the near future to her full-fledged album debut. It was aired on more than 65 radio stations nationwide “This is what I’ve always wanted to do—sing, dance and perform and touch people with music… and it’s great to be doing it on a level where it can finally be shared by so many. It’s also been so much fun interacting with the audience.

Theara Washington : Instructor

Theara teaches our kickboxing and boxing classes and boot camps. She started boxing in 1994 Golden Glove medalist turned pro. She is a Lady Boxing Commission member and ISCA certified. Get ready for some high impact action!
